The festival is held annually in early November. Visitors have the opportunity to get to know, taste and buy fine local products from small producers of the villages in the area. The festival also includes an artistic program with music and songs.

PONTISMENO

Ketsekia

A custom, which is revived during the Carnival period and on Clean Monday. It is a popular event, suitable for satire and entertainment. The custom dates back to the Ottoman period and is not found in any other part of Greece. Here, perhaps the most ancient type of lyre in Greece, the “gika”, also survives to this day.
